How do I register my child at a Paramus school?

We are thrilled to welcome new members to our community! Please visit our Registration page for the information about enrolling your child at one of our schools. You may download and print the required registration forms and bring the completed forms, together with the required documentation, to your registration appointment.

Does your school offer breakfast and lunch?

We operate an excellent nutrition program at each campus. We also participate in the federal free and reduced price lunch program for those who qualify. For more information or to apply for free/reduced meals, please visit our Food Services page.

What if my child requires medication during the school day?

We will administer medication in accordance with state regulations and with physician and parental approval. For questions about student health, please contact the nurse assigned to your child’s school.

Do you provide transportation services?

We are pleased to provide our students with safe, reliable transportation to and from school each day. We consider bus riding a privilege and expect all students to adhere to the rules for their own safety as well as for the safety of others. What is Genesis, and how do I get a username and password to use it?

The Genesis Parents Module is a safe, secure way to view your child's school record for the current school year. After contacting your child's school to register, you will be able to log in to access grades, report cards, daily attendance records, teacher gradebook assignments, and assignment grades. When and where does Paramus Public Schools offer preschool classes?

Four-Year-Old Program
Location: Paramus High School Early Childhood Center

A.M. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00–11:30 a.m.
P.M. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 12:15–2:45 p.m.
Full-Day Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.–2:45 p.m.

Three-Year-Old Program
Location: Parkway Elementary School Early Childhood Center

A.M. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00–11:30 a.m.
P.M. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 12:15–2:45 p.m.

What do I need to do if my child will be absent from school?

If your child must miss school, please call the appropriate school office on the day of his/her absence. Call (201) 261-7800 and follow the prompts to connect to the appropriate extension.
