School Health Services
School Health Services is one of four departments under the larger umbrella of Student Personnel Services. Our school nurses play a critical role in providing everyday care for our students. They work in partnership with the student, their parents and caregivers, and the student’s primary healthcare provider(s). School nurses conduct routine screenings, respond to injuries, illnesses, or emergencies, provide referrals or care coordination, and assist with family outreach and health counseling and education. The goal of our school health services staff is to work together with families and other school staff to ensure that all students are healthy and ready to learn.
