            For over half a century, Stony Lane School has been a place where learning is a way of life!  At Stony, we pride ourselves on learning that happens on every level.  Whether you are a brand new kindergartner, or a teacher with decades of experience, if you are part of the Stony family, you live a learning kind of life!

            Our students engage themselves in reading and writing workshops, technology in the classroom, math that encourages a sense of numeracy, problem-solving, and computational skill.  Our science and social studies instruction encourages a hands-on approach, and arts are celebrated at our school.

            Our teachers are involved in state of the art professional development both in and out of the classroom, and take pride in reinventing themselves as educators.  We cherish children and work hard to make sure their emotional and academic needs are met each day.
