Attention outstanding STEM students, grades 9 through 12: The State of New Jersey will be instituting the Governor’s STEM Scholars Program that will take place during next school year. This special Scholars Program is open to all current high school students beginning in 9 th grade and is also available even to graduating seniors. If you have a strong interest in and aptitude for STEM and related careers, this program might be for you. It will involve field trips, conferences, research projects and even internship opportunities during the fall, winter and spring of next school year. For more information about this outstanding STEM offering, please speak with your science, technology or mathematics teachers as well as your school counselor for details. You can also secure information about the Scholars Program from Dr. Pilacik in room 902. Applications for the program are due to the state by tomorrow, May 26, 2017.
Attention Seniors: Starting May 1 st , the required graduation survey will be available for you to complete on Naviance. You can access the survey by signing into your Naviance account and clicking the 'Graduation Survey' link on the homepage. This mandatory survey will ensure your final transcript, a requirement for enrollment, is sent to the college you will be attending in the Fall. You have until May 31 st to complete this task. If you need assistance, please see your counselor.
Attention students in grades 9, 10 and 11: If you are interested in taking a course through the Virtual High School next year, please see Ms. Condal in room 711 for more information. Registration is now open. Course availability is first come first served, so don’t delay!!
